The new Eaton S711 soft starter
Easier to operate than ever!
The S711 sets new standards in soft start technology. This brand-new soft starter is not only smarter and more powerful, but also equipped with advanced control and protection functions. In addition, it introduces a groundbreaking service interface based on Bluetooth LE (Low Energy).
In combination with the S711 Connect app for iOS and Android, the Bluetooth connection can be used to download and upload parameters, log events, forward status information, and perform firmware updates. With a current capacity from 12A to 560A, the S711 is designed with advanced cybersecurity features and comes standard with Modbus RTU. Furthermore, it offers the flexibility to add optional communication cards, ensuring maximum reliability and adaptability for your applications.
Enhanced operational integrity and reliability:
- In the event of a 1-phase failure, the soft starter remains operational thanks to 2-phase control.
- Integrated bypass across the entire range
- Pump control profiles for various pump types
- Real-time performance graph display for monitoring and diagnostics
- Full simulation mode for training and pre-commissioning
Safety and protection functions:
- Touch protection for larger frames
- Emergency mode for critical situations such as HVAC smoke extraction
- Long-term use with easy maintenance
- DC and Soft-brake control for safe motor stopping
The S711 features a user-friendly, removable HMI with a full graphic display for easy configuration and operation. The HMI has an IP65 rating and can be mounted directly or remotely. Thanks to the integrated Bluetooth antenna, it can wirelessly communicate with the soft starter outside the control cabinet.
